The Deputy Prime Minstress, Julia Gillard, will be taking a trip to the illegally-occupied Palestinian Territories to deal with the Israeli President Shimon Peres and the Defence Minister Ehud Barak. The other Barrack will also be on the agenda as Julia follows on to the second most populous Jewish state, the USA. She calls the back-alley politics “an important new initiative” and she intends to, on the Australians’ behalf, affirm our supposed support of a two-state proposal which effectively acknowledges the criminal occupation and subordination of the rightful Palestinian owners. Even the “Labor” party’s Fowler representative, Julia Irwin, labelled it as an unnecessary public relations exercise. “When leaders and academics are distancing themselves from Israel following its attacks on Lebanon and Gaza, Australian politicians are taking part in this public relations exercise“, Irwin said. The sham of a tour was organised in partnership with the clearly-republican Australia Israel Cultural Exchange.
